"One way traffic was allowed from Srinagar to Jammu today. No vehicle was allowed from Jammu towards Srinagar," police said.
Over 200 stranded vehicles have been allowed to move to their destinations as authorities had put on halt heavy vehicles in wake of sinking of portion of road at Chenani belt of Udhampur district, they said.
Heavy traffic jam was witnessed on the national highway yesterday soon after it was reopened for one way traffic as a section of the road caved in at Chenani area of Udhampur, forcing authorities to stop the movement of heavy vehicles.
