ONGC commissions unit at Dahej petro plant

State-owned Oil and Natural Gas Corp (ONGC) today said it has commissioned a small unit at its long-delayed petrochemical plant at Dahej in Gujarat.
ONGC Petro additions Ltd (OPaL) "commissioned 66 KV Gas Insulated Switch Gear (GIS) system," the company said in a statement.
The system has a capacity to distribute 180 MW power to various Polymers and other Associated Units.
The Rs 21,396 crore petrochemical complex was originally scheduled to be commissioned by end-2012 but has been delayed.
