"Only 64 clubs gave names of their representatives by June 12 at 5 pm which was the cut-off time. The clubs which have failed to submit the names of their representative are not eligible to vote," GCA president Dr Shekhar Salkar told PTI today.
The crucial election for GCA's managing committee would be held on June 28.
Salkar said that the clubs which are members of the association have to mandatorily submit names of their representatives.
The cards for the representatives would be issued on June 24-26 in the GCA office.
The cricketing body is currently in controversy after a case of forgery was filed against its former president Dayanand Narvekar, former secretary Chetan Desai, former treasurer Vinod Fadke and Federal Bank.
The GCA had alleged that Rs 28 lakh were fraudulently withdrawn from the accounts of the association.
