'Only non-BJP,non-Cong front will come to power after LS poll'

Veteran CPI leader A B Bardhan today said only a non-BJP, non-Congress front and not the Congress-led UPA would come to power at the Centre after the next Lok Sabha elections.
"A non-BJP and a non-Congress front will come to power at the Centre after the next Lok Sabha elections. It will be impossible for the Congress-led UPA to return to power," he told reporters here.
Asked about BJP naming Gujarat Chief Minister Narendra Modi as the party's Prime Ministerial candidate in the next parliament election, he said this would only pave the way for a revolt in that party.

Charging the Congress-led United Democratic Front Government in Kerala with being immersed in corruption, he claimed that the agitation demanding resignation of Chief Minister Oommen Chandy over the solar panel scam issue was spreading in the state.
He said it was the state government's responsibility to name a sitting judge to probe the scam.
Bardhan alleged that both the Centre and state governments have been unable to find solutions to the severe hardships faced by people on account of frequent hikes in prices of petrol and diesel.
