Ooty annual flower show from May 23

The 118th edition of flower show in the nearby famous tourist town of Udhgamandalam, part of the Summer Festival, will be held from May 23.
The three-day show is a major event of the festival in the hilly Nilgiris District as it attracts more than one lakh flower lovers, apart from the usual summer tourists.
The vegetable show will be held at Kotagiri on May 3 and 4, the two-day 13th Rose Exhibition at the Government Rose Gardens in Udhgamandalam from May 10, the 56th Fruit Show at Sims Park in Coonoor on May 17 and 18, a release from the horticulture department said here today.

The summer festival will conclude on May 31, with the fifth edition of Spices Show at Gudalur, the release said.
