The Odisha Pradesh Congress Committee is likely to witness a change right from the grassroots level soon, OPCC president Prasad Harichanda has said.
"The Congress will have a Nabakalebara (revamp) from booth-level to the top," Harichandan told reporters here yesterday.
The results of the organisational election will be declared soon, he said.
Senior members of the Congress are meeting the partys newly appointed Odisha in-charge Jitendra Singh to discuss about the possible changes in the party organisation, party sources said.
Congress leader Ananta Sethi said the party is hopeful that the change in the party organisation, as stated by the OPCC chief, will strengthen the party for the 2019 general polls.
