"The indemnity limit (sum insured) in the policy is Rs four crore, which will be inclusive as 3rd party liability of Rs 50 Lakh," the Jharkhand State Cricket Association stated in a press release.
"It will cover loss to get money due to cancellation/abandonment of match without a ball being bowled due to incident of rain, storm, inundation, riot, strike and malicious damages and related risks on January 19," the association said.
The JSCA has paid Rs five lakh toward premium, it said and added the Oriental Insurance Company Limited also paid Rs five lakh in favour of JSCA for making them available to put hoardings as official insurer.
