The designer passed away on October 20, after a long battle with cancer. He was 82.
He will be laid to rest in a private ceremony at the Church of St Ignatius Loyola at Park Avenue and 84th Street in New York, reported Contactmusic.
The service will take place in the same chapel where the family of former first lady Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis, whom Renta designed many garments for, held her funeral in 1994.
His funeral will reportedly be attended by some of the most influential names in fashion, including the editor-in-chief of American Vogue Anna Wintour and the designer Diane von Furstenberg.
