Outgoing Guv to preside over R-Day function

The outgoing Himachal Pradesh Governor Urmila Singh whose five year term is expiring on January 24 would preside over the state level Republic Day function at historic Ridge ground here.
Urmila Singh would demit office on January 27 and Rajasthan Governor Kalyan Singh who has been given additional charge of Himachal would take oath on January 28.
Chief Minister Virbhadra Singh, forest Minister Thakur Singh Bharmouri, Deputy Speaker of Vidhan Sabha Jagat Singh Negi and Chief Parliamentary Secretaries Nand Lal and Rohit Thakur would also be present at the state level function at Shimla, an official release here said.
