Over 10 kg ganja seized near Rameswaram

Over 10 kg of ganja valued at around Rs Two lakh in the international market, and meant to be smuggled to Sri Lanka was seized from Vanangapuri near here today, marine police said.
Based on a tip-off, the marine police confiscated the drug buried alongside the shore off Uchipuli, they said.
No arrests have been made in this connection, police said adding a case has been registered and investigations are on to ascertain the source of the supply.
