Over 7 lakh quitals sugar produced in Haryana

During the current crushing season, the cooperative sugar mills in Haryana have so far produced over 7.81 lakh quintals sugar by crushing 90.06 lakh quintals sugarcane, besides exporting 1,73,26,285 units of power.
During the corresponding period last year, the cooperative sugar mills had produced over 6.11 lakh quintals sugar by crushing 71.01 lakh quintals sugarcane, besides exporting 1,54,66,754 units of power.
While stating this here today, an official spokesman said that Cooperative Sugar Mill, Shahabad had produced the maximum of 1.55 lakh quintals sugar by crushing 16.59 lakh quintals sugarcane, besides exporting 1,08,20,885 units of power.
Cooperative Sugar Mill, Meham has produced 91,450 quintals sugar by crushing 11.28 lakh quintals sugarcane, followed by Cooperative Sugar Mill, Rohtak, which has produced 88,000 quintals sugar by crushing 10.88 lakh quintals sugarcane, besides exporting 61,29,000 units of power.
He said that the Cooperative Sugar Mill, Kaithal has produced 87,280 quintals sugar by crushing 9.57 lakh quintals sugarcane, whereas Cooperative Sugar Mill, Gohana has produced 76,475 quintals sugar by crushing 9.28 lakh quintals sugarcane, besides exporting 3,76,400 units of power.
Similarly, Cooperative Sugar Mill, Jind has produced 69,825 quintals sugar by crushing 7.63 lakh quintals sugarcane, and Cooperative Sugar Mill, Sonipat has produced 65,500 quintals sugar by crushing 7.59 lakh quintal sugarcane.
He said that Cooperative Sugar Mill, Panipat had so far produced 64,400 quintals of sugar by crushing 7.24 lakh quintals sugarcane, whereas Cooperative Sugar Mill, Palwal has produced 50,610 quintals sugar by crushing 6.21 lakh quintals sugarcane and Cooperative Sugar Mill, Karnal has produced 32,250 quintals sugar by crushing 3.79 lakh quintals sugarcane.
Apart from this, HAFED Sugar Mill, Assandh has produced 51,700 quintals sugar by crushing 6.45 lakh quintals sugarcane, besides exporting 5,35,900 units of power.
