The maximum temperature was recorded at 37.2 degrees Celsius, three notches below the season's average.
The minimum temperature was pegged at 26 degrees Celsius, two notches below the normal, said a Met department official.
Several places in the city also recorded traces of rainfall till 8.30 AM.
The humidity level oscillated between 71 and 37 per cent.
The Met office has forecast overcast conditions along with a possibility of rain and thunderstorm for tomorrow.
"The maximum and minimum temperatures are likely to hover around 37 and 25 degrees Celsius, respectively," the weatherman said.
