'Padmavati' looks exceptionally beautiful: Karan Johar

Filmmaker Karan Johar feels Sanjay Leela Bhansali is unmatched when it comes to visualisation and aesthetics in cinema.
Johar loved all the three looks from "Padmavati", where Deepika Padukone plays the titular role of the Chittor queen, Shahid Kapoor features as Raja Ratan Singh while Ranveer Singh portrays Alauddin Khilji.
"She (Deepika) looks stunning. That's one thing about Sanjay Leela Bhansali, his aesthetics are always beautiful, always stunning and the best. His sense of visualisation and beauty is the best we have in the country," Johar told reporters here.
"There's no doubt that Padmavati looks exceptionally beautiful. All the three looks, even Ranveer Singh's look, were exotic. Deepika is always eternally beautiful but I think Bhansali makes her look more beautiful."

The filmmaker was speaking at the launch of his maiden jewellery line, Tyaani, and its flagship Polki store here.
Johar said the brand is aimed at the "modern day" woman. He also plans to come up with men's jewellery in the next phase.

When asked who he would choose as a brand ambassador for men's jewellery, he said, "Ranveer Singh, undoubtedly. He is cool enough to carry anything off. He really walks the talk when it comes to being fashionable and being fashion forward."
Johar clarified that his next collaboration with Ranbir Kapoor is not as a director but as a producer.

"I was actually referring to Ayan Mukerjee's next film and that its title is not Dragon. I needed to specify that. It's a working title and we will release our title soon. But I am working on my next directorial and I'll announce it soon.
