The Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Police said they arrested the terrorist involved in the attack on Badaber base from Nowshera district.
The terrorist identified as Muhammad Israel pretended himself as a member of the al-Qaeda, CTD sources said.
At least 42 people, including 13 militants, were killed when the heavily-armed terrorists in military uniforms attacked the Badaber Air Force base and a mosque inside the compound on September 18.
In another incident, a terrorist identified as Uzair was arrested at the Peshawar Airport after he returned from Saudi Arabia.
The terrorist was allegedly involved in an attack on a police post in Swat District in 2009. After the attack, he had fled country, police said.
He has been shifted to an undisclosed location for interrogation.
