Pakistani businessmen participate in Make in India event

More than 150 Pakistani businessmen today participated in the 'Make in India' event organised by the Indian High Commission here to mark the ongoing MII week in Mumbai.
During the programme, apart from the telecast of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's speech while inaugurating the event on February 13, the Indian High Commissioner Gautam Bhambawale also interacted with the Pakistani business leaders.
According to sources, the programme was attended by over 150 businessmen who were also told about various steps taken by India to improve ease of doing business such as simplified visa process. Now, Pakistani businessmen can apply for one year multiple entry business visas for up to ten places, with exemption from Police Reporting.
