Imran, a resident of Lahore, was arrested from Hariballabhpur village of Sidhauli area this afternoon, said Ashish Gupta, IG crime.
"During questioning, Imran said that he had come to India a year ago by train through the Atari border with his brother, who left him in Jalandhar where he started working as labourer," the IG said.
About 15 days ago, Imran arrived in Shahjahanpur and started working as labourer, the officer said, adding that ATS was interrogating him and help of intelligence unit was also being taken.
