Palmolein oil rises on retailers demand

In thin trade, palmolein oil prices looked up by Rs 50 per quintal on the wholesale oils and oilseeds market today supported by increased demand from retailers.
However, other edible and non-edible oils moved in a tight range in limited deals and settled around previous levels.
Traders said increased demand from retailers mainly helped palmolein oil prices to rise.
In the national capital, palmolein (rbd) and palmolein (Kandla) oils rose by Rs 50 each to Rs 6,950 and Rs 6,600 per quintal respectively.
The following were today's quotations per quintal:
Oilseeds: Mustardseed 2,950-3,050 and Groundnut Seed 2,150-2,900.

Vanaspati Ghee (15-litre tin) 1,120-1,340.

Edible oils: Groundnut Mill Delivery (Gujarat) 7,450, Groundnut Solvent Refined (per tin) 1,900-1,950, Mustard expeller (Dadri) 7,350, Mustard Pakki Ghani (per tin) 1,290-1,370, Mustard Kachi Ghani (per tin) 1,375-1,475, Sunflower 6,300, Sesame Mill Delivery 9,600, Soybean Refined Mill Delivery (Indore) 7,600, Soyabean Degum (Kandla) 7,400, Crude Palm Oil (Ex-Kandla) 5,750, Cottonseed Mill Delivery (Haryana) 6,400, Palmolein (RBD) Rs 6,950, Palmolein (Kandla) 6,600, Rice Bran (phy) 3,800 and Coconut (per tin)2,000-2,050.
Non-edible oils: Linseed 7,450, Mahuwa 4,000, Castor 9,500-9,600, Neem 5,300-5,400, Rice Bran 3,150-3,250 and Palm Fatty 3,200-3,300.
Oilcakes: Groundnut Dehusk 800-850, Sesame 950-1,150, Mustard (New) 1,000-1,025, Mustard 1,200-1,210 and Cottonseed 1,075-1,175.
