Panasonic launches new range of microwave ovens

Consumer durable major Panasonic today launched a new range of microwave ovens claiming it to be designed to suit oil free cooking.
Priced at Rs 14,990 onwards, the range has 27 litres capacity and are designed for the users who want to keep their shape and weight in check, Panasonic said in a statement.
Commenting on it Panasonic India Head, Home Appliances Gaurav Minocha said:" This would greatly ease cooking for the Indian homemakers while delivering oil free yet delicious meals at the same time".

Sony launches Extra Bass Bluetooth headphone * Japanese electronics major Sony today launched Extra Bass Bluetooth headphone priced at Rs 12,990 in the Indian market.
MDR-XB950BT, a wirless headphone is perfect for those who enjoy listening to music with extra bass in style with a frequency response upto 28,000Hz, Sony India said in a statement.
The headphone comes with NFC, which offers a one-touch connection with smartphones. It also features a built-in microphone, letting the audiophiles to also take calls and chat hands-free while on the move.

Ramadorai to keep resignation in abeyance for CMC Board meet * Tata Consultancy Services arm CMC today said its Chairman and Director S Ramadorai will keep his resignation in abeyance till the firm's Board meeting on October 16, 2014.
Ramadorai had stepped down from the Board on October 6 on attaining the age of 70 years as per the company's policy.
"Board of Directors deliberated the aforesaid matter and requested Mr Ramadorai to keep his resignation in abeyance till the ensuing Board meeting of the Company to be held on October 16, 2014... Consequently any decision on his resignation will be subject to the deliberations and discussions of the CMC Board," it said in a filing to the BSE.

TCS to announce Q2 results on Oct 16
* Country's largest software services firm Tata Consultancy Services will announce its financial results for the quarter ended September 2014 on October 16.
"A meeting of the Board of Directors of the company will be held on October 16, 2014 to approve and take on record the audited financial results for the quarter and six months ended September 30, 2014 (Q2)," it said in a filing.
It will also consider declaration of a second interim dividend to the equity shareholders, it added.
