"I believe India is so tolerant that we even tolerate intolerance. It is a reflection of our society being a very tolerant society. I have no doubts in my mind (about India being tolerant)," Kanoria told reporters here.
His remarks came at a time when many writers and artistes have returned awards citing rising intolerance in the country.
"You may have some incidents, which have happened here and there... Which have got sparked and hyped up a lot and which have gone up to Parliament spending hours on debating it rather than on what we can do to build the country," he said.
The 'Sach Bharat Confluence and Samman' will be organised here on December 22-23. It carries the theme of 'Spirituality at Work' for corporate India and global enterprises to guide them towards a profitable way of doing business in a sustainable manner.
