Paramilitary personnel held on rape charges

A paramilitary personnel was today arrested for allegedly raping a girl in Palamau district.
The victim was lured away by the constable from a fair here and was raped by him at a hotel, Superintendent of Police Narendra Kumar Singh said.
Later, she lodged a complaint with police following which the accused was arrested, Singh said.
Further probes are on, the SP added.
