Indian parathlete Jai Deep failed to replicate even his personal best as he missed out on a medal after finishing fourth in the men's discus throw (F42/44) event of the 20th Commonwealth Games here today.
Jai Deep covered 38.68m in his best attempt which also happened to his first. But it was a disappointing performance given Deep's season's best is 40.48m.
His personal best is also way better at 41.10m.
England's Dan Greaves clinched the gold with a throw of 59.21m while Welshman Aled Davies finished a distant second with 46.83m.
Nigeria's Richard Okigbazi covered a personal best of 39.38m to pip Deep for the bronze medal.
