Parui murder case: Main accused surrenders

Bhagirath Ghosh, one of the main accused in the Sagar Ghosh murder case was sent to a 14-day judicial custody till May 7 after he surrendered before a local court here today.
Acting CJM Sourav Jana Roy ordered a 14-day judicial custody for Bhagirath. The five accused arrested earlier by the Special Investigating Team (SIT) also produced in the court today were also remanded to judicial custody till May 7.
Hriday Ghosh, a rebel TMC candidate in the last panchayat elections and son of Sagar Ghosh had claimed that his father in his dying declaration had named Bhagirath Ghosh, another Subrata Roy as two of the attackers.
The police had issued an warrant against Bhagirath.
