Passenger dies as train derails at Mughalsarai station

A 22-year-old male passenger died as a bogie of Archana Express derailed near Mughalsarai railway station here today.
The fifth bogie of Archana Express running from Rajinder Nagar (Patna) to Jammu Tawi jumped off the track near Mughalsarai railway station here, a railway official said.
Mukesh Kumar, a native of Patna, who was sitting near the gate of one of the bogies, suffered a fatal fall, said Mughalsarai Government Railway Police (GRP) Inspector, Tripurari Pandey.
A woman passenger received minor injuries in the incident, he added.
