The mishap took place yesterday after the trio travelling in Patna-Mumbai Janata Express got down at Aswali during a brief halt, and were hit by the superfast train while they were enjoying sun on the tracks.
The deceased has not been identified yet. The injured have been admitted to Nashik's Jairam hospital with the help of Station Superintendent Vivek Khairnar.
