Passing out Parade of Naval officers

Thirty eight Lieutenants and Sub Lieutenants today completed their Naval Orientation course from various establishments under the Southern Naval Command.
Rear Admiral M S Pawar, Chief of Staff, Southern Naval Command, reviewed the Passing Out Parade of the officers, a Naval press release here said.
Lt Rajkumar R bagged most of the awards and honours, including the prestigious Chief of the Naval Staff Gold Medal for standing first in overall order of merit during the midshipman training phase. Lt Bharath Sridhar received the silver medal.
The officers, after 50 weeks of professional training, will now proceed to frontline warships for final phase of sea-based training prior to taking up staff appointments on the Indian Naval ships, the release said.
