Election Commission today transfered Pathanamthitta district Collector B Mohanan, who is also the Returning Officer for the Lok Sabha polls, from the post following complaints from certain political parties.
According to sources complaint was that he was close to Congress leaders in the state.
Mohanan had recently landed in a controversy after he received and garlanded KPCC President V M Sudheeran at the Pathanamthitta district guest house, when Sudheeran visited the district, after he became the KPCC President.
