The Patna High Court today set aside results of the Staff Selection Commission (SSC) examination, 2010, for 3,200 posts of secretariat assistants (Grade III) and asked the Commission to re-evaluate all answer sheets by deleting four wrong questions and publish the results afresh.
Justice Mihir Kumar Jha passed the order setting aside the SSC results, announced on February seven last, and asked the SSC to re-evaluate all answer sheets by deleting four questions found to be wrong during hearing of the case.
The petitioner Dhananjaya Kumar and 400 others had challenged the results on grounds that the Commission had announced the results on February 13 last and questioned validity of 13 questions, but its answers were judged during compilation of the list of successful candidates.
Much to the embarrassment of the SSC, four more questions and its model answer were found to be wrong during hearing of the petition which the judge asked for deletion.
