Patriarchs fom India, Russia held discussion

Catholicos Patriarch of the Assyrian Church of the East (ACOE) Mar Dinkha IV and Patriarch Kiril of all Russia had held discussions for the co-operation between the two Churches in Moscow.
Senior most Metropolitan of the ACOE Mar Aprem, who participated in the discussions recently said here today that the dialogue was a 'good step in ecumenical relation between the Russian Orthodox Church and the Assyrian Church'.
Kiril had agreed to train the aspirants of the priesthood of the Assyrian Church in their seminaries in Russia.
The two patriarchs had held discussons on the prospects for further interaction between their Churches including development of joint academic and theological projects and exchange of students, Aprem said.

He said the number of faithful attending churches in Russia for masses and other services was on the increase.
