Under the Empty Seat Option (ESO), flier can get an adjacent empty seat at a nominal price, Optiontown founder and CEO Sachin Goel told reporters here.
US-based IT company Optiontown has tied up with the low cost carrier to provide post-sale services of choosing an empty seat, to make bookings on multiple flights or in a preferred flight and even get rewarded for having a flexible flying plan.
Customers can use these facilities, which are clubbed under the product brand 'Fexlifly' after buying a ticket of SpiceJet flight either at the airline's or Optiontown's website.
The multiple booking option (MBO) allows the fliers to hold the confirmed availability on additional flights of their choice. The customer gets the right to decide upto 24 hours before departure, which flight they want to fly on.
