"Ola Money is making payments seamless beyond mobility, in a variety of use cases every single day. With over 500 merchants already accepting Ola Money across India, we are proud to add 25 leading utilities to this list," Ola Money SVP and Head Pallav Singh said in a statement here.
By selecting the 'Bill Payment' option on the Ola Money app and selecting their utility provider, users can instantly pay their utility bills with one touch, Singh said.
RBI has also recently increased the recharge limit on wallets like Ola Money from Rs. 10,000 to Rs. 20,000 until December 30, 2016 to facilitate convenient cashless transactions for citizens, Singh said.
Ola Money is now accepted at over 25 utilities across India including BESCOM, he said.
