Punjab Youth Congress Sangrur Lok Sabha seat president Rahul Inder Singh Sidhu suspended the Sangrur's youth Congress team members and area presidents on "disciplinary grounds."
"A special training programme was organised at Mohali recently which was compulsory for all the members of local youth Congress team to attend. Some party officials remained absent on all three consecutive days," Sidhu, who is son of former chief minister Rajinder Kaur Bhattal, said.
Those suspended from Sangrur's youth Congress team included its vice-president Jaswinder Singh Dhiman, Sunam area president Malvinder Singh Chatha, Bhadur area president Ashwani Kumar Ashu and Lehragaga area president Jassi Mniana.
