Peas rises on scattered demand

Peas prices inched up by Rs 25 per quintal in an otherwise steady wholesale market today on scattered demand from retailers.
However, other pulses continued to trade in a tight range in limited deals and closed at previous levels.
Marketmens said some demand from retailers led to rise in peas prices.
In the national capital, peas white and green edged up by Rs 25 each to Rs 2,925-2,950 and Rs 3,225-3,325 per quintal, respectively.
