Pak national arrested for overstaying in India

A Pakistani national has been arrested for overstaying in India after the expiry of his visa, police said today.
Irshad, a resident of Saudabad area in Karachi had come here to attend a wedding on November 11 last year with a 28-day visa but continued to stay beyond the expiry period, police said.
Based on a tip off, the Local Intelligence Unit (LIU) team gathered information about the Pakistani national and apprehended him yesterday from Sheetalkhan Road, they said.
The Pakistan High Commission has been informed about the arrest, SP (City) Udayshankar Singh said.
