'People close to CM using Nashik incident to destabilise his

The Shiv Sena today claimed that certain people close to Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis are using the Nashik incident to undermine his position.
"If the Chief Minister is in possession of horoscopes of all those who matter then how come he was not aware of the antecedents of Popat Pawar and Arjun Pagare, accused of destabilising the law and order in Nashik," Shiv Sena spokesperson Neelam Gorhe told reporters here.
"Both Popat Pawar and Arjun Pagare were recently inducted into the BJP's Nashik unit by senior party leaders," Gorhe claimed.
"People close to the Chief Minister are using the Nashik incident to destabilise his chair," she further claimed.

Gorhe also claimed despite the appeal from the Maratha Kranti Morcha leaders the situation is still not under control.
"Out of the two accused, Pagare has been charged with threatening the local Deputy Commissioner of Police at knife point, while Pawar is facing charges of murdering a police constable," she said.

Gorhe urged Fadnavis to take a closer look at all those who are hovering around him and what are there antecedents.
"There is no word on charge sheet filed in connection with Mumbai BJP Yuva Morcha vice president Ganesh Pandey accused of sexually harassing a woman party worker," she said.

Commenting on Nashik district Guardian Minister Girish Mahajan's contention that the incident involving a minor girl at village Talegaon near Trimbakeshwar in Nashik was a case of attempt to rape, Gorhe said, "The Minister should have waited for the medical report before jumping to conclusions."
"Even the police awaits the medical report before applying sections like 376 (rape) of IPC and provisions of The Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act (POCSO Act) 2012," she added.
Gorhe alleged that it was because of Mahajan's remarks there was even more public outrage.
