Digging in the Raja Rao Ram Bux Singh fort continued for the 14th day today here, even as members of Buddhist sect submitted a memorandum addressed to the President saying excavations should not be done on the basis of dream, otherwise people would damage historical sites.
Raising questions over excavation in Daundiya Kheda village here, a large number of people from the sect submitted the memorandum to District Magistrate.
"Without scientific analyses by the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI), pre announcement on the basis of imagination or dream was not right," the memorandum said.
Meanwhile, Sub Divisional Magistrate Vijay Shanker Dubey said that 116 cms digging was done on the 14th day.
