Permission required for accepting foreign hospitality

Punjab government today issued instruction to judges, MLAs, office bearers of political parties and government employees to seek permission of the Union Government before accepting any foreign hospitality.
An official spokesperson of the general administration department said these instructions have been issued after receipt of a letter from the Union Home Ministry.
He said the instructions have been issued as per Section 6 of Foreign Contribution (Regulation) Act (FCRA), 2010.
