PGIMER asks patients to register online for OPD

Patients coming to Out Patient Department (OPD) at PGIMER here can get themselves registered online in order to save time, officials said today.
"PGIMER appeals to the people of this region to register themselves online before visiting the OPDs so that they save time in getting the card made," A PGIMER spokesperson said.
Online registration is done in the OPDs of Advanced Eye Centre, Dermatology, ENT, General Surgery, Internal Medicine, Obstetrics and Gynaecology, Oral Health Sciences, Paediatric Medicine, Paediatric Orthopedics, Paediatric Surgery, Plastic Surgery, Psychiatry and Urology, she said.
Daily out of 8,000-9,000 registrations, about 2,500 are new which can easily be done online, she said.

"This would not only save time of the patients but also ensure capturing of accurate data," she said.
Online registration is convenient and can be done through a laptop, I-pad, PC and even a mobile phone.
This user friendly system is available on the Institute website (http://pgimer.Edu.In) for the first time visitors to PGIMER, she said.
