This is the highest day temperature in the state this season followed by Churu where the maximum temperature was 49.1 degrees Celsius.
Jaisalmer, Barmer, Sriganganagar, Bikaner, Kota and Jaipur recorded maximum of 48.8, 48.6, 48.5, 48.2, 47.9 and 45.8 degrees Celsius respectively, MeT department said.
Heat wave conditions continued to prevail in other parts as well with Pilani and Ajmer recording a maximum of 45.5 and 44.7 degrees Celsius.
There will be no respite from the prevailing heat wave conditions in the next 24 hours, the MeT department added.
