"Crime Branch Jammu today arrested Paramjeet Singh of Poonch for submitting fake and forged date of birth and qualification certificates while seeking the job of physical education teacher in district Reasi," the CB spokesman said.
He said that the crime branch had started investigations after it received a complaint that the accused had secured the job after furnishing forged documents.
"During the course of investigations it was found that the accused had altered his date of birth by one year and had also shown his matriculation marks as 446 instead of 279 which he had actually scored in the examination."
