CNN's Primetime talk show 'Piers Morgan Live' has been axed by the channel apparently due to poor ratings.
According to Allison Gollust, the head of CNN communications, the talk show would be axed soon but date of the last episode is yet to be decided, reported Ace Showbiz.
"CNN confirms that 'Piers Morgan Live' is ending. The date of the final program is still to be determined," Gollust said yesterday.
Morgan, who previously judged 'America's Got Talent', has hosted the talk show since 2010, replacing Larry King in the network's coveted 9 pm slot.
He had hinted that the show might end this year following poor ratings.
"It's been a painful period and lately we have taken a bath in the ratings," Morgan had said during an interview to The New York Times.
