PIL seeking removal of Jaya protrait filed in TN

: A PIL seeking direction to Tamil Nadu to remove portraits of former chief minister J Jayalalithaa from Government offices was today filed before the Madras High Court Bench here.
The petitioner, an advocate also sought direction that government schemes named after Jayalalithaa when she was ruling the state should not be displayed as she has been convicted by a court.
The portrait of Chief Minister O Panneerselvam should be displayed and the schemes named after Jayalalithaa be replaced by the present chief minister's name,the petitioner submitted.
The petition is coming up for hearing tomorrow.
