Petitioner Varaaki sought a direction to the state government to enact the RTS Act to ensure a time frame for delivery of essential services to public.
Quoting the example of Madhya Pradesh which was the first in implementing the RTS Act in August 2010, the PIL said the act will give the right to public to know everything that can be availed through the Government.
