A police officer confirmed they got the information that Jahiruddin Seikh, one of the four injured in the blast on May 7, having died at a Kolkata hospital during the day.
Seikh had been referred to the M R Bangur Hospital, Kolkata from the district hospital days after the incident.
The deafening blast occurred when the pack of explosives in the house went off on May seven night.
A BJP delegation, led by actor-BJP leader Rupa Ganguly and Jaiprakash Majumder, today went to Pingla but were prevented to visit Brahmonberia village where the cracker unit was located.
