Pistachio softens on low demand

Barring a slide on pistachio prices on subdued demand from retailers, rest other dryfruits held steady at the dryfruits market in the national capital today in thin trade.
Marketmen said easing demand from retailers against adequate stocks position, mainly helped pistachio prices to trade lower.
Pistachio Irani, Hairati and Peshwar were down by Rs 5 each to Rs 1,020-1,120, Rs 1,425-1,480 and Rs 1,545-1,595 per kg, respectively.
