Planning should be done keeping in mind next 20-25 years: CM

Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das today said that planning for the development of the city should be done according to the needs keeping in mind of next 20 to 25 years.

"Do not keep matters pending in DPR and files. Develop the state capital Ranchi in a way that it becomes a role model in the country," an official release said quoting Das while reviewing the works of Urban Development and Housing Department here.

"Plan and complete paper work of schemes during monsoon and implement them after monsoon," he said.

The chief minister said that only the Road Construction Department will construct 20 feet high width road in Ranchi so Urban Development Department should hand over this work to them.

The Chief Minister also instructed to speed up the process of making the bus terminal on 25 acres of land. Urban Market will be built on the land lying vacant of industry department near Bada Talab, he said..

DAS said that inauguration of Dada-Dadi Park should be done by local elders.

The chief minister said, "Night market will start at Jaipal Singh Stadium in Ranchi. This will encourage employment and people will get market available all the time.
