Delhiites woke up to a pleasant morning with light rain in some parts of the city as the mercury dipped to 24 degrees Celsius, according to the MeT department.
The weatherman had predicted cloudy sky with moderate rainfall and scattered thundershowers.
"The minimum temperature was recorded at 24 degrees Celsius and the maximum temperature is expected to reach 31 degrees Celsius, three notches below the season's average," according to an official with the MeT department.
The relative humidity was recorded at 92 per cent and rainfall was 16.3 mm.
Light rain occurred in central and eastern parts of Delhi in early hours Monday.
Yesterday, the maximum and minimum temperatures had settled at 31.2 and 24 degrees Celsius respectively.
