Modi will be starting his tour from Myanmar, where he will attend East Asia Summit (EAS) on November 12-13 in the Myanmar capital Nay Pyi Taw. From there, he will go to Brisbane for a G-20 meet on November 15-16.
From Brisbane, Modi will travel to Canberra to hold a bilateral meeting with Australian counterpart Tony Abbott on November 18. This will be second meeting between the two leaders after Abbott visited India last month during which the two countries inked the civil nuclear cooperation agreement.
From Australia, he is likely to go to Fiji on November 19.
Modi, who will be the first Indian Prime Minister to visit Australia since Rajiv Gandhi in 1986, will deliver an address to a joint sitting of federal parliament, according to officials.
