appreciated the All India Radio (AIR) unit at neighbouring Kannur for honouring a student who wrote an article on the issues covered in his monthly radio speech "Maan Ki Baat".
During the "Mann Ki Baat" yesterday, the Prime Minister complimented the AIR unit for felicitating Shredha Thamban, a class XI student of the Government Higher Secondary School at Kottodi in Kasargod District, a release from AIR, Kannur, said today.
The unit had on October 5 presented her the "Shravya" award for her feedback on the PM's radio programme.
Programme Head of the AIR Kannur unit K Balachandran said the award was instituted to popularise the PM's radio programme among the students.
Shredha, a listener to Modi's radio programme since September, 2014, in her article gave her views and suggestions and appreciation of the programme, he said in the release.
