"Congress has hollowed the country financially in coal blocks allocation scam. We demand resignation of the Prime Minister," BJYM national president Anurag Thakur alleged.
Accusing the Congress of taking a "big bribe," he also demanded that the licences that have been allotted be cancelled and judicial probe ordered in the matter.
"The UPA-II government has broken all records of corruption. Every day some scam is exposed and entire Congress government and the Congress party start covering up that scam," Thakur alleged while addressing a rally here.
Singh should resign so that an "impartial and transparent inquiry" can be conducted and the investigating agencies are not "pressurised," he also said.
