Complainant Dr Inderjit Kaur had alleged that civil surgeon Amita Goyal took possession of the Ultra Sound machine's register from the multi specialty hospital, run by Kaur, an official spokesperson said.
Later, Goyal along with one Pardeep Gupta, a Pre-Natal Diagnostic Techniques (PNDT) coordinator, demanded Rs 5,000 on a monthly basis from the complainant for smooth functioning of the machine at the clinic, they said.
Following a complaint, a trap was laid by the Vigilance Bureau and PNDT coordinator was nabbed while accepting the bribe.
